Service Description: This is a GIS data layer of polygons representing Submerged Aquatic Vegetation of Barnegat Bay - Little Egg Harbor, 1996 to 1999. The data are a compilation of GPS survey data by Paul Bologna (1999) and hard copy maps by Paul McLain (1996) that were digitized by the Grant F. Walton Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis (CRSSA), Rutgers University. Included are the submerged aquatic vegetation types mapped throughout the study area and their respective area and perimeter for each polygon.
