Service Description: The draft set of Strategic Investment Areas indicate appropriate built-environment and placed-based economic development strategies. Focused Investment Areas are a subset of Strategic Investment Areas. They are highly-valued and high-performing places that play a strategic role in advancing County-wide planning and economic development objectives. When final Strategic Investment Areas are designated, the County will prioritize Focused Investment Areas for economic development and revitalization strategies, whether to maintain or enhance existing assets or to promote development of new facilities and spur job growth.
