Title: Dataset on soil CO2 flux survey at Vulcano Porto (Aeolian Islands) in October-November 2021

The dataset contains the results of a detailed soil CO2 flux surveys carried out at Vulcano Porto during the unrest crises started in September 2021. An area of 1,028 km2 has been investigated with a total of 1001 points.

Soil CO2 and H2S fluxes were measured with the accumulation chamber method time “0”, by portable fluxmeters manufactured by West Systems. The device is equipped with a CO2 IR Licor-Li820 detector (single-beam dual-wavelength NDIR; range 0-2 vol.%; accuracy: 3 % of reading) and with a Tox‐05 detector for H2S (range = 0–20 ppm).
