Description: Legal boundaries were abstracted from the landbase append coverage (line-code = 11) and corrected where lines did not come across. Original data was in coverage format and placed into a file GDB which will be imported to the SDE. These legal boundaries will be useful in plotting plat maps with the appropriate village/city outlines and are used to determine the one mile limit polygons. One mile limit was created by the buffer command in workstation Arc/Info and imported to the file GDB. Data is compiled from section plats that have been created from a variety of sources (deeds, surveys, legal documentation) by County Engineering personnel.
