This statewide dataset has been created by the Bureau of Beaches and Coastal Systems to show the locations of coastal environmental permits that cover a large area. It includes permits in all coastal counties and inlets in Florida that are regulated by this Bureau. Environmental permits are issued for any construction or activity seaward of the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL). Large area permits are typically, but not limited to, beach nourishment projects or inlet dredging.
