This linear feature displays approximate location of all fence lines and gates within a 1,600 foot swath around the canal according to available data. The original data was digitized using the 2" Pictometry (Eagleview) orthophoto imagery. Where data existed from the Engineering Drawing Services UUP Fence Gate and Fence layers, the Engineering UUP data was copied over with the attributes. Sometimes this Engineering data was adjusted slightly to match the Pictometry imagery which was then noted in the Comment section. All of the attributes from the Engineering UUP data were maintained, but were often not populated unless the data originated from Engineering. This data was also verified as of the date of creation and does not account for new data past the date of creation. The data was collected and transferred into the Enterprise Spatial Database Engine (SDE) and metadata updated to reflect verification, validation and correctness. This layer had a thumbnail created for reference only and may not be an exact representative or may have changed from the above thumbnail.
