The geography represented herein is derived from either plotting metes and bounds or digitizing georeferenced documents containng spatial information about gas pipeline easements located within the Town of Apex, North Carolina, planning jurisdiction. Information is based off of recorded deeds of easement/right-of-way and recorded deeds of acquisition; recorded plats and surveys; approved site plans, approved construction drawings, approved record drawings, and digital as-builts; and an occassional unrecorded survey. Newer documentation where pipelines have been realigned was used in place of older documentation reflecting original alignments. Cardinal, Colonial, and Dixie pipeline easements are depicted by this file, and the easement widths and primary data sources are listed within the attribute table. This data will not be updated unless newer or more accurate documentation becomes available. The file was created between March and November 2021.
