The Land Use Plan for the CIty of College Station was adopted May 2009 as a part of the City's Comprehensive Plan. The Land Use Plan was created using analysis of existing natural systems, development patterns, infrastructure, and ultimately a suitability analysis for various types of real estate development. The Land Use Plan is updated to reflect changing development patterns and needs only after consent from the City Council through Small Area Planning or Comprehensive Plan Amendments.
