Description: Pursuant to section 2(4) of HB 7053, signed into law earlier this year by Governor DeSantis, the Department, in consultation with the Chief Resilience Officer, must collect and report on a statewide inventory of basin-level flooding assessments and related planning efforts across the state later this year.
The goal of this questionnaire is to collect relevant information from all five water management districts and applicable special districts on current flood planning and analysis. The questions included are meant to assist in determining the status of flood planning efforts across these jurisdictions, as well as to identify opportunities to improve consistency in flood planning statewide.
