This data shows tsunami evacuation zones. There are two zones:

Red shore and marine threat zone: Covers the beach and adjacent low-lying areas most likely to be affected by a tsunami. Avoidance of this area is advised following any tsunami alert for the Auckland region until it is declared safe.

Yellow land threat zone: Covers the area that would need to be evacuated in the event of a dangerous tsunami. Evacuation of this area is advised if requested, or in the presence of natural warnings, until it is safe to return.
