This dataset represents Animal Feeding Operations (AFOs) in Arizona. It provides facility level footprints for both cow and pig AFOs. This dataset was derived from the integration of multiple data sources, including EPA, Data Axle and CouterGlow records. These records were visually inspected using high-resolution satellite imagery to verify and identify facility polygons. Gaps in the dataset were supplemented with additional locations found by systematically reviewing high-resolution satellite imagery and digitizing additional AFOs.
