Description: This layer contains addressed structures for Carbon County Montana and was developed primarily for Enhanced 911 purposes. Structures were mapped using a combination of differential GPS, handheld GPS and/or interpreted from NAIP aerial imagery. In rural areas, the physical address is based on the length of the road measured in 1/100 units (ie., frontage interval system). For example, an address located exactly 1 mile from the road origin would have an address of 100. Addresses within towns/cities are based on a city-block system (100, 200, 300 block, etc.).
