Stream valley parks exemplify the concept of park space possessing both a recreational component and an environmental purpose to assist in achieving environmental goals. To date, ten major applications are committed to restore and enhance degraded stream valleys in Tysons. The commitments include financial contributions, provision of design plans, and actual restoration. Table 1 identifies these commitments and their location by zoning case.
