Service Description: The Commercial Revitalization Districts (CRDs) are established to encourage economic development activities in the older commercial areas of the County to provide desirable employment and enlarge the tax base consistent with state law. The districts are intended to enhance the older commercial areas of the County by providing for specific regulations that are designed to facilitate the continued viability and redevelopment of these areas. To that end, the districts are intended to provide additional flexibility for development and redevelopment in these areas while also providing for urban design measures such as streetscape and landscaping.
