Description: Depicts communication sites on the forest. Combination of Communications, Communication Use coded special uses point locations on the forest (803 - 833) and Designated Communication sites on the forest as detailed and listed by Special Uses Manager and reported in the Forest Plan Revision Assessment. Most designated communication sites on forest are also special use permitted communication sites. A designated communication site are by definition are designated in a NEPA decision document; in a land management plan, an amendment to the plan, or a separate NEPA decision document. Designated sites have associated management plans. Compiled from existing GIS point locations for special uses or lookouts, and from the 2017 Forest Visitor's Map in the case of North Baldy Mountain in Fall of 2017.Made a copy of the extracted communication uses special uses and added attribute fields: Location Name and Designated. Location Name is the name of the communication site location when it was named (ex. Long Tom Lookout) and the name of the nearest geographical feature when there was no specific site name. Designated is whether the site is a designated communication site on the Forest or not; yes or no.

Description: 3/5/2021 edited to remove Slide Creek, 40459 from the project, no longer doing that part.Data represents spatial location of the Sawmill Canyon project description. Major actions planned to include: rerouting trails away from streams and install trail bridges on the North Fork of Big Creek to reduce sedimenation. And on South Fork of Big Creek. Convert 4 miles of non-motorized trail to seasonal single -track motorcycle use to create a loop opportunity. Convert 2 miles of 50-inch width restricted motorized trail to 64-inch width restricted motorized trail to accomodate larger utility terrain vehicles. Brush out 2 miles of NFST Trail 4177.02, Decommissioning to various degrees approx. 5 miles of user created routes.

Description: The actual polygon locations of potential rock sources of the Salmon-Challis Rock Source project - 2021. This data layer still contains former locations of several that were relocated upon field verification. They are denoted by the word "DELETE" in the location name. Use the accompanying layer file to display the most current pit locations to be analyzed. It has a definition query and only displays the most current updated locations.
