Description: The critical habitat feature service is a hosted feature service that covers the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. It is designed to be used for offline field use as a reference. The data is delivered through the Forest Service Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Data is refreshed annually each May by the EDW and the Geospatial Technology and Applications Center (GTAC) in Salt Lake City. Data consists of Forest Service authoritative data, and authoritative data from other government agencies. In addition to filling mapping needs the map is designed to help support data management and national data efforts.
