Description:

All fire perimeters within region 5 from 2000-2022 were compiled into this dataset to identify unique polygons of overlap. The "COUNT_" field identifies the number of times an area has an overlapping fire perimeter. This does not, however, mean that this area burned multiple times. Fire perimeters may include areas that did not burned, or burned at very low severity.
