Description: Montana stream routes created from the 1:100,000 named streams from the Pacific Northwest River Reach Files (PNWRF3) in western Montana and the National Hydrography Dataset in eastern Montana. Additional streams have been added on an as needed basis from a higher resolution (1:24,000 scale) where fisheries data exist. This layer serves as the base hydrography for the Montana Fisheries Information System (MFISH) maintained by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP).
