Rough generalization of UC San Diego student living communities in and around San Diego County. Dataset created specifically to roughly explore population movement by cellular location references. Polygons were made to delineate areas of high to low density and on- and off-campus housing. Quantitative and updated data of off-campus student housing is not available from the university; data was approximated by surveying past and present UC San Diego students for colloquial understanding of housing preferences from anecdotal experience. Caution is advised before using this data for complex analyses and decision-making. The creator of this map is not held liable for any analyses made from this dataset.
