Service Description: For this web map, I converted General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data into spatial features representing bus stops in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Then, I used Network Analysis to create a service area polygon which represents all areas within a 10-minute walk from a bus stop. Additionally, I imported census data from the ArcGIS Living Atlas to assess the best neighborhoods for future bus stops based on population density, poverty levels, and the public's lack of access to a vehicle. My analysis found that the neighborhoods of Red Bank and East Ridge could most benefit from the installation of new bus stops.
Note: I could not publish this web map to ArcGIS Online with the Normalization set to "Shape_Area" for the "No Access to Vehicle", "Poverty" and "Population Density". After switching the Normalization from "Shape_Area" to "STGEOMETRY_AREA", I was able to publish the web map.
