Description: Dataset is a derivative from LiDAR data captured, processed and prepared by a third-party vendor. The LiDAR is classified and processed used computerized algorithms that detect the perimeters of all building within the City of Airdrie boundary. The building height, ground elevation and rooftop elevation are calculated. City of Airdrie GIS staff has further enhanced the dataset by intersecting the footprint boundaries with other points of interest datasets for labelling and classifying purposes.New footprints are sometimes added by digitizing the features from the latest Orthophoto collection.
