Description: Polygon overlay of the natural communities classification within the boundaries of Palm Beach County Natural Areas managed by PBC Department of Environmental Resources Management (ERM). The natural communities classification system follows the naming convention from Florida Natural Areas Inventory (FNAI) 2010 Guide to the Natural Communities of Florida. The purpose of this data set is to display, monitor, manage and conduct analysis on the land types within PBC Natural Areas. This data set is updated as needed when the community classification changes due to management or other activities and potentially with the update of a PBC Natural Area management plan.
