Description: TThis is a point data set representing all streetlight power cabinets within Boise Area of Impact. A power cabinet, also called a meter cabinet or controller cabinet, is a lockable box containing a power meter and a circuit breaker panel for streetlights. This data set was developed by Boise City Public Works Department in the early 1990's and is currently maintained by the DIS Division of Boise City Public Works under the direction of the Boise City Streetlight Coordinator. This data set is updated continually by Boise City GIS and other staff, and represents the current state of cabinets for the Boise City Area of Impact.
