This spatial data layer includes the point locations of places where the USDA Long-Term Agroecosystem Research Network is collecting data. The points are representative of the general area where measurements are being made. Each LTAR site determined this location based on its own logic and site locations may or may not be associated with actual site boundaries or addresses. A text field is included providing a short description of the rationale for the location of the point. One point is associated with each “main” site and each “partner” site. Therefore, to represent the LTAR Network measurement locations with one point per site, select the “main” site.
