Description: This data displays the 75 ft buffers associated with the streams and non-forested wetlands from the 300 acre drainage point to the 25 sq mi drainage point for use in Statewide Standards for Timber Harvesting and Related Activities in Shoreland Areas (MFS Rule - Chapter 21) for maintaining shoreline integrity and shade retention in the unorganized territories. This data is advisory, for planning purposes only. Actual ground conditions and water body locations determine where and how MFS timber harvesting rules apply.
