Description: The Maine Geological Survey has participated in the USGS StateMap grant program since 1993. This competitive grant program awards funds to state geological surveys to perform field surficial and bedrock mapping. States must match or exceed the grant awards with at state funds and/or services. As the field mapping work is complete the maps are intended to be published by MGS. This dataset allows MGS to track the publication completion rate.
