Service Description: The objective of this document is to provide information on the conservation status of sharks in Argentina and to offer suggestions to decision makers in order to address the main threats to the species of dogfish, catshark, scalloped porbeagle and bacota. These species share recreational fishing as their main threat. This document proposes to work on the harmonization of the regulations governing recreational fishing in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil
