Lodging facilities in Wyandotte County, KS as a point feature GIS dataset in Esri shapefile (.shp) data format, in Kansas North State Plane coordinates, Datum NAD83, units feet. Lodging types included in this file are travel-related accomodations (hotels, motels, resorts, bed-and-breakfast). Other lodging categories like apartments and dormitories are not included. Point locations denote the approximate geometric center of main facility building. Attribution in table includes lodging name, street address, city, telephone number, type (e.g. motel, hotel), and number of dwelling units (rooms). This dataset was initially prepared by Mid America Regional Council (Kansas City) as part of a regional Homeland Security GIS data collection. It has been modified and edited by GeoSpatial Services (GSS) for use in the Unified Government's Enterprise GIS. A companion dataset of lodging facility grounds (lodging_grnd_py) is also available from GSS.
