Description: Electric lines are wires typically encased in conduits which transmit current from an electric pole to other electrical infrastructure such as transformers, meters, and main panels. The lines depicted in the GIS represent actual or inferred routes, dependant on the 'origin' of the feature. The routes of most lines in the campgrounds are inferred via the orientation of the campsite hookups relative to the electric panels which feed them.The electric lines which connect the electrical equipment on the panel boards are standard 1 foot lines referred to as 'main lines'. These 'main lines' may or may not depict the actual path of electrical lines in the field and were digitized for the sole purpose of showing connectivity between electrical features.Similarly, the lines connecting poles to meters and main panels do not represent the actual paths of electrical lines and were digitized to show connectivity. Where possible, the 1 foot main line standard was utilized. The course of these lines follows the bearing of a path connecting pole to main panel.Symbology used to represent electric features should utilize the American Public Works Association (APWA) utility color codes standard (rgb; 209, 36, 33) (pantone matching system; PMS 1795).
