Description: The Wildfire Project Areas dataset represents 13 geographical areas within the County of Sonoma, identified as focused areas per the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Project Subapplication. Wildfire Project Areas were selected using a variety of criteria, including CAL FIRE Fire Resource and Assessment Program (FRAP) Fire Hazard Severity Zone data, and consultation with local jurisdiction chiefs to determine and address highest needs. The dataset herein supports submitted map: Wildfire Adapted Sonoma County - Education & Incentives for Safe & Resilient Communities.
