Description:

Since the GIS data was developed for planning purposes and use in publication of maps and/or database creation, the data is for illustrative purpose only and is not suitable for parcel specific decision making. Therefore, the GIS data presented herein are approximations and further land development determination is at the discretion of the PRMD planning staff which may require a parcel specific site review (to draw parcel specific conclusions). The water quality control board dataset represents two regional board jurisdictions within the County of Sonoma. One in the north called the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board based in Santa Rosa, and one in the south called the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board based out of Oakland. The Water Quality Control Board is one of the nine statewide regional boards tasked to enforce the California Porter Cologne Water Quality Control Act. Each regional board has delegated its authority to regulate onsite waste water disposal systems to Sonoma County PRMD Well and Septic Division. The parent organization is the California Water Resources Control Board located in Sacramento. Related Resources: For more information go to https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/
