Description: This stream layer is in the process of being rectified to the County of Sonoma 2011 aerial imagery. The current rectification status of the stream segments are represented by the "Rectified" field. Please see the field defintions for more information. The stream layer was originally acquired by the Sonoma County Water Agency from the County of Sonoma GIS Central. In August of 2005, inquiries were made to the GIS/IDS department at the County of Sonoma as to the lineage of the layer. The GIS department provided the HYD_USGSSTRM.xml as the source of the layer.

Copyright Text: Original data set came from the County of Sonoma Central GIS. The rectification process, stream naming reconciliation and classification is an ongoing process undertaken by the Sonoma County Water Agency (SCWA) and was initiated by Andrew Stinnett. The Water Agency GIS staff is the major contributor and continues to do so at the time of this entry.
