This layer is an amalgam of addresses taken from the PRMD Permits Plus permitting system and addresses created by the Sonoma County Information Systems Department – GIS for the CAD 911 Emergency Dispatch. The Permits Plus addresses were captured on 06/01/2016 from the archival Permits Plus database and represent all addresses designated as “Active”. The CAD 911 address layerwas originally created to fill in gaps or other address range difficulties for the County of Sonoma 911 Dispatch system and to identify addresses that may or may not be difficult to find on the ground in the field. These addresses were collected using GPS data collection equipment or provided by Sonoma County Fire Districts, Volunteer Fire Companies, Sheriff’s Dispatch and other entities.

These two address sets were matched on parcel number and full address to create designations for use in identifying Permit Plus addresses needing verification. The verification process should be ongoing until this layer represents official PRMD addresses.

This layer is updated ongoingly as Permit Sonoma issues Address Change Notifications.
