Description: Based on the data provided by the GIMS, meetings with the Advisory Committee and the workshop, we have selected three ways to illustrate the boundaries of resources within the study area. These are based on landscape processes, watersheds and the desire to provide habitat for the native species of Lake County to ensure that no species are lost and that populations of plants and animals can expand and increase. The three resource boundaries are Strategic Habitat Conservation Areas, Ecological Complexes and Enhancement Areas.
