Description: This dataset represents projects that have been awarded funding through the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Aquatic Resource Mitigation (ARM) Program, with the most recent updates made in 2025. The ARM Program is designed to support the long-term sustainability of New Hampshire’s aquatic ecosystems by funding initiatives that protect, enhance, and restore wetlands, streams, and other aquatic resources.
Projects included in this dataset have been selected to offset unavoidable impacts to aquatic resources resulting from permitted development activities. By strategically directing mitigation funds to high-priority conservation and restoration efforts, the ARM Program ensures that the ecological functions and values of aquatic habitats are maintained or improved at the watershed level.
Each entry in the dataset provides information about the funded project, including location, project type, funding amount, and the specific aquatic resources being addressed. This information supports transparency, planning, and evaluation efforts by stakeholders, including regulators, conservation organizations, and the public.
