Description: Sidewalk layer for six Thurston County, WA communities: Bucoda, Olympia, Rainier, Tenino, Tumwater and Yelm. Feature class was digitized from 2009-2015 aerial images (cell size = 6x6in) and CAD drawings. Other digitized features include crosswalks, pedestrian connections and areas with missing sidewalks. This data set is intended for use as a reference, base map layer for GIS applications, display, and backcoverage purposes. Not all connections may be public or recommended for public use.Feature class was developed and updated as needed between 2010 and 2018. Intial funding provided by U.S. Dept. of Energy grant EE0003802 for the Cities of Rainier, Tenino, Tumwater, and Yelm and the Town of Bucoda. Subsequent updates were completed for the City of Olympia and City of Lacey. Additional updates were made as needed to support TRPC projects. Not all attributes and feature types were updated depending on funding source and client.
