Description: This feature class shows the location of building permits issued in Thurston County, WA since 1990. Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) collects building permit data annual from Thurston County, the Cities of Lacey, Olympia, Rainier, Tenino, Tumwater, and Yelm, the Town of Bucoda, the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation, and the Nisqually Indian Tribe. Permit data are used to develop TRPC's annual population estimates for cities, tribal reservation, Urban Growth Areas, and other areas. TRPC may add, remove, or modify permit records to better reflect the number of dwelling units on a given parcel.
