Description:

Populations Centers of Angwin and Deer Park areas from the statewide dataset city90a (www.gis.ca.gov). This was used as a graphic for the Baseline Data Report maps along with the other population centers from this layer. The 'CITY90' layer contains 1990 Census Federal place code boundaries that have been clipped by the county tile outline. The Federal place codes define polygons that are cities or census designated places or are unclassified as to type. Updated in 2021 as part of routine maintenance to better fit the boundaries found in the US Census Bureau's 2016 MAF/TIGER database. Data obtained from the California Geographic Places Boundaries dataset (data.ca.gov/dataset/ca-geographic-boundaries).
