This dataset contains points representing locations of accessible boat ramp launch sites throughout St. Johns County. Identifies whether the access point are public, private, or city launch sites.
This dataset contains points representing Bald Eagle Nest locations. This data exists as an aid in the protection of habitat zones around known Bald Eagle’s Nests in St. Johns County as required by Section 4.01.10 of the Land Development Code. The intent of Section 4.01.10 of the County Land Development Code is to maintain and/or improve the environmental conditions that are required for the survival and well-being of the Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) in St. Johns County by minimizing potential detrimental impacts on Bald Eagles particularly during the nesting season defined as October 1 to May 15. This section provides Management Zones with prohibitions and standards for the protection of the Bald Eagle in St. Johns County. Limitations of activities that are allowed in the Management Zones around Bald Eagle nest trees are to minimize the adverse effects on Bald Eagles. Primary Zone: This is the most critical area and must be maintained to promote acceptable conditions for Bald Eagles. The Primary Zone shall be an undisturbed area extending in a minimum radius seven hundred fifty (750) feet outward from the nest tree. Secondary Zone: Restrictions in this zone are needed to minimize disturbance that might compromise the integrity of the Primary Zone and to protect important areas outside the Primary Zone. The Secondary Zone shall be an area extending outward from the boundary of the Primary Zone a minimum distance of seven hundred fifty (750) feet. Both the Primary and Secondary Zones are displayed from each Nest Point. This data is managed as an element in reviews of proposed development project applications received by the County to determine appropriate development options and constraints.
Beach Access points are points of access onto the beaches throughout St. Johns County. These are pathways, boardwalks, ramps and other means for getting onto the coastal beaches. The dataset contains open and undeveloped beach access points.

This data was created using the Surge Inundation Model (SIM) which incorporates a Digital Elevation Model created from the most recently flown LiDAR data (from FDEM); water features and the newly updated Jacksonville SLOSH basin from the National Hurricane Center (2012).

This dataset contains polygons representing the boundaries of the Registered Architectural Review Associations (RARA) in St. Johns County. A Registered Architectural Review Association (RARA) is either a Home Owners Association (HOA) or an Architectural Review Board appointed by the HOA on record with the County for the purposes of avoiding unnecessary public and private expense by preventing an Owner from purposely or inadvertently proceeding with construction activities in violation of the applicable Declaration, and to assure that an Association with Architectural Review Authority is made aware that an Architectural Permit may be issued within their Community without Architectural Approval.
