Service Description: Rainbow smelt spawning habitat refers to specific locations in coastal rivers where rainbow smelt egg deposition was documented during their spring spawning runs by the DMF technical report TR-30 (2006). Field observations recorded the latitude/longitude for the upstream and downstream limit of smelt egg deposition for Gulf of Maine coastal rivers.
