Description: The Colorado Beaver Activity Mapper (COBAM) displays a variety of geospatial data layers illustrating the historical and more recent distribution of beaver ponds and other beaver-influenced wetlands across Colorado. Beaver activity areas are based off modeled beaver ponds using recent National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) imagery, and include pond counts within each cluster of ponds. Beaver pond modeling was carried out by Lynker and CNHP, and reviewed and QCed by CNHP in 2023 and 2024. Other supporting layers include general land use and management, as well as watershed units.
