This data includes only the data that were provided to US EPA with a latitude and longitude. More data is available in the data warehouse than is provided here. Please contact US EPA, Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water to obtain additional information. This data is provide to US EPA from the primacy agencies on a quarterly basis but is maintained by each primacy agency in their own data systems. The locations of the drinking water sources are considered sensitive and all users should follow the HIFLD Secure security policy for this data.

Original data was projected to NAD83. Data has been re-projected to WGS84 for inclusion in HIFLD Secure. Updated latitude and longitude coordinates are reflected in the PROJECTION_WGS84_LAT and PROJECTION_WGS84_LON fields located at the end of the attribute table.
