Service Description: This map shows the different parts of the local food system in Fort Collins and clearly defines the different components with varying symbology. All of the symbology that is outlined with a circle represents public components of the local food system. The symbols inside of the circles correlate to the resource that each group provides. For example, community gardens are labeled with a tree symbol since this is where food is grown and the CSAs are labeled with grapes since this resource is where you can get food from. The star symbols represent private components, specifically home gardens. Also, when you click on each point on the map a pop up will come up with information on that resource. I hope that this map helps you find local food and makes it easy for you to support the local food system!
