Description: Migration bottlenecks are any portion of a mule deer and antelope migration corridor where animals are significantly physically or behaviorally restricted. Maintaining safe movement through the bottleneck is critical to the corridor remaining intact. Within the Sublette herd corridor, 12 bottlenecks were identified throughout the corridor. Areas in the Corridor that have been identified as bottlenecks are associated with highway wildlife crossings, river crossings, unsuitable forested vegetation, constricting topography, and existing anthropogenic disturbance.
