The outdoor warning sirens are part of the Outdoor Warning System and are designed to notify the community of a threat to public safety, including severe weather or a hazardous incident. Our warning system includes 14 outdoor sirens strategically located throughout the city. While they can be activated individually, they are primarily synchronized for city-wide emergencies.
