Description:

Geospatial data representing source water protection areas in North Dakota for noncommunity drinking water supplies. These data are updated weekly.

NOTE: Systems are frequently updated and may not all be present in this shapefile. Delineation of source-water protection areas, completion of contaminant source inventory and susceptibility analysis is mandatory for community water systems. Voluntary program elements are development of management strategies, contingency plans and public education. Please contact the NDDoH-Sourcewater Protection staff, system owner, cities, or tribal authorities for more detailed or site specific information. (https://deq.nd.gov/WQ/1_Groundwater/1_SW.aspx)
