View In:   Map Viewer

Service Description: Preliminary data for the Storm Tide Pathways project on Martha's Vineyard. These data were delivered at the end of Year 1 (June 2021) of the two year contract. Data include points of locations where seawaters will pass thru once the total water level reaches a certain level (varies by location). Also included are polygon files indicating the extent of the landward inundation. These inundation planes vary by the total water level (TWL). TWL "...is the combination of water level experienced from the combination of storm surge and the astronomical (predicted) tide level. It includes factors that control the level of the water along the coast, such as storm surge, which refers to the increase in water level associated with the presence of a coastal storm, but does not include waves." per https://stormtides.org
