Description: Based on the year-round and seasonal bus routes operated by the Martha's Vineyard Transit Authority (December 2024), the Martha's Vineyard Commission delineated the respective ADA service areas by applying a 3/4 mile buffer to the bus routes. The buffer was then clipped to the Town boundary file for all Martha's Vineyard towns. The Town boundary (land) dataset excludes water. Therefore the clipping process also removed any water bodies from the resulting ADA service area dataset.
