Name: Residential Well Sample

Display Field: Address

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPoint

Description: This layer displays a heat map for residential well samples compared to Michigan Part 201 Residential and Nonresidential Drinking Water Criteria. Original location data source is Kent County parcel points (center point of parcel boundaries), supplemented with GPS data. Well samples were collected from April 2017 through present. If more than one sample was collected from a residential well location, including influent whole house filter monitoring samples, the maximum results for each PFAS analyte across samples is maintained in this layer. Results are updated quarterly. This data is used in the North Kent Disposal Area PFAS web map. The pop-up in that map displays: AddressTotal number of samplesHighest/maximum result in ng/L or ppt for 7 PFAS analytes with Michigan Part 201 Residential and Nonresidential Drinking Water Criteria (DWC) and for Total PFAS, which is sum of all PFAS analyzed. The fields found in this dataset are:Field NameDescriptionAddressStreet AddressSample_CountTotal count of samples collected at well, excluding whole house filter mid-point and effluent samples, if applicableTypeSample Type: Irrigation or Residential Well SampleT_TotalPFASHighest Total PFAS result across samples in text formatT_PFOAHighest PFOA result across samples in text formatT_PFOSHighest PFOS result across samples in text formatT_PFNAHighest PFNA result across samples in text formatT_PFHxSHighest PFHxS result across samples in text formatT_PFHxAHighest PFHxA result across samples in text formatT_PFBSHighest PFBS result across samples in text formatT_HFPODAHighest HFPO-DA result across samples in text formatAreaBoundaryUsed to mark and query sample locations within North Kent Study AreaAll7PFASNon-Detect (No Detections of PFNA, PFOA, PFHxA, PFOS, PFHxS, PFBS, or HFPO-DA), Detection, no exceed (One or more PFAS Analytes Detected Below Michigan Part 201 Drinking Water Criteria), or Exceeds (One or more PFAS Analytes Detected Above Michigan Part 201 Drinking Water Criteria)You can find more information about the North Kent Study Area by visiting the House Street Disposal Area webpage or the Rockford Tannery webpage on the Michigan PFAS Action Response Team (MPART) website.
