The bridge locations in this dataset were created from an excel spreadsheet of x-y locations downloaded from the Bridge division’s Bentley® InspectTech™ system. The x-y locations were converted into geometry then reviewed and moved using imagery and location description to the center of the bridge location on the image. The points were then snapped to the geometry of NDOT.Roads and road name and ID numbers were to normalize bridge attributes to NDOT standards. If the bridge structure was a single span and the road was represented as dual roadway the bridge was snapped to the geometry in the cardinal direction of travel.
